Wilmed in the time of coronavirus – safety rules
The threat of coronavirus remains real; moreover, experts say that the SARS-CoV-2 virus may stay with us for many more months. For this reason, to ensure the safety of both our patients and staff, Wilmed clinic has introduced strictly defined procedures aimed at reducing the risk of coronavirus infection.
We encourage all our patients to familiarize themselves with the safety rules in effect at Wilmed clinic during the coronavirus threat. We strongly ask for their compliance – for the shared comfort of us all!
- Before scheduling an appointment, a telephone interview is conducted with each patient. It includes information about possible COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, muscle pain, weakness, shortness of breath) and potential contact with infected persons. Only individuals without COVID-19 symptoms are scheduled for appointments.
- Appointments are scheduled for a specific time – please arrive punctually, neither earlier nor later, to avoid contact with other patients. Visits should be attended without companions – exceptions are children under 18, elderly persons, or disabled individuals requiring constant care.
- Every patient is required to come to our clinic wearing a protective mask and disinfect their hands with the solution provided at the entrance. Upon entering the facility, in a specially prepared area, a health status questionnaire must be completed. Only then may you proceed to the reception.
- Our receptionists work wearing protective masks behind special plastic shields to reduce the risk of coronavirus spread. All required personal protective equipment is also used by doctors. Patients must wear masks throughout their stay in the clinic.
- During the visit, social distancing rules apply – approximately 1.5 to 2 meters from others. Of course, this does not apply during the medical examination itself, when direct contact between doctor and patient may be necessary.
- Hand sanitizer dispensers are placed at many points throughout Wilmed clinic – we encourage frequent use. The reception desk is disinfected after serving each patient. Appointments are scheduled with appropriate intervals so that staff can disinfect surfaces and equipment in the examination room.
- Patients qualified for surgical procedures at Wilmed clinic are required to undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test before the procedure. A positive test result automatically postpones the scheduled surgery date.
- We encourage, whenever possible, payments for medical visits, tests, outpatient or surgical procedures to be made by card.
We remind you that teleconsultations with Wilmed clinic doctors are still available – an excellent, safe way to obtain prescriptions for ongoing medications, consult test results, or plan further diagnostic or treatment steps.
Let’s take care of our own and others’ safety together!
